"Kenya--Tuberculosis on the Rise"

     The chairman of the Kenya Association of Physicians said in
Monday's issue of The East African Standard that the number of
tuberculosis cases in Kenya has increased 10-fold in the last
decade.  Dr. Joe Aluoch attributed the rise to the massive spread
of HIV infections, compounded by increased TB resistance to
drugs.
