Information on Organisations in Botswana that can Assist with ARV Distribution
- Alan Matthews, Botswana
********************************

Greetings

Just read some of the reports from the SADC conference on Home-Based care in
Botswana. At the moment I am working with ACHAP (African Comprehensive HIV and
AIDS Partnership) to develop some strategy recommendations for the government's
ARV distribution program.

One of the areas of particular interest to me is evaluating whether there are
structures/organizations within the community that can assist patients on ARV
with ongoing counselling and support and encourage drug adherence.

Can you send me details on any/all the community organizations you know of in
Botswana that might have some capacity in this
regard? (am looking for information on contact details, geographical area of
activity, number of people in the field, level of training, core activities)

Thanks
Alan Matthews
