   - Learning from the past and looking to the future

21-24 July 2003

The Valley Trust, one of South Africa?s oldest and best-known NGOs, was founded in
February 1953 by Dr Halley Stott. To celebrate their 50th anniversary in 2003, The Valley
Trust is convening an international conference to explore Primary Health Care in South
Africa.

Prospective participants are invited to submit abstracts for papers or poster
presentations. Alternatively, topics for workshop sessions are welcomed. The main theme is
?PHC in South Africa: Learning from the past and looking to the future.
