HCC 2003: 'More Care For Better Living'
Programme Building Discussion

Dear ProCAARE forum members,

The Scientific Committee of the 6th International Home and Community Care Conference for
Persons Living with HIV/AIDS (6th HCC) wishes to open a discussion on the programme
building process to all ProCAARE forum members.

The 6th HCC Conference (Dakar, Senegal, 9-13 December 2003) will present three tracks with
different sub-topics within them.

The conference theme is: "More Care For Better Living". The three tracks are:

1.	Better Caring
2.	Better Living
3.	Development

This structure and composition has been suggested by the Scientific Committee and approved
by the International Steering Committee during previous discussions.

In the following days, we will publish a brief introduction to the tracks and sub-themes.
The forum members are invited to an open discussion about the sub-topics. Each track will
be discussed for about 7-10 days. After this period, the next track will be open for
discussion.

Once the three tracks have been discussed in the forum, a discussion summary will go back
to the HCC Scientific Committee and presented to the next International Steering Committee
meeting, which will take the final decision in May.

We encourage ProCAARE forum members to participate actively in the discussion! Your
suggestions and comments will help us to improve the programme for this important event.
