Programme Building Discussion

Dear forum members
Today we open the discussion period for the first track and sub-themes of the 6th. Home
and Community Care Conference. The first track discussion period will end on April 19th.
As mentioned in previous postings we would like the forum members to consider and respond
to these questions about the first track:
- Are the sub-themes pertinent and relevant at this stage of the epidemic?
- Do you know about successful/or unsuccessful experiences in the context of the suggested
sub-themes?
- Suggestions for additional interesting sub-themes, in accordance with the conference
theme?
Track 1: Better Caring
Sub-themes:
· Medical care / psychological care / social care;
· Nutrition;
· Medical / community relationship;
· Quality of home and community care;
· Injection drugs;
· Roles of PWAs;
· Better understanding of PWA therapeutic routes;
· Examples of successful HCC policies;
· Traditional practitioners and HCC;
· Capacity development of community organisations on HCC;
· Health workers perception of home and community care: how to improve it;
· Exhaustion (community and family solidarity);
· Palliative care
