Dears,

The topic under discussion is of great interest and importance. My humble request is that
we start with defining or describing the key concepts of what we mean by care or home
based care. I have a feeling that we need to standardise the concept after all in Africa
our experiences are similar.

As we discuss this issue, remember that there will be an international Conference for PHAs
in Uganda this October. So how do we relate both conferences, given their similarity?

I have two observations to make:

Sample of Abstract format for the 6th Community Care conference and abstract form are not
availed.
Key words and the three tracks: Better living, Better care and Development are clear.

I am of the view that you send clear guidelines so that people, who would like to submit
abstracts, are guided to submit quality abstracts for this conference.
