The Strategies for Hope Series has documented several examples of 'good practice' in home
care for people living with HIV/AIDS - mostly in Zambia and Uganda - since 1989.  Three
recent examples are:

- the booklet and video 'Under the Mupundu Tree', which document and analyse the role of
volunteers in home care for people with HIV/AIDS and TB in Zambia's Copperbelt.

- the booklet and video 'Open Secret', which includes a case study of the home care
programme of Kitovu Mobile in rural Uganda.

- the booklet 'Journeys of Faith', which includes an account of the home care programme of
Catholic AIDS Action in Namibia.

All these materials are available from Teaching-aids at Low Cost (TALC) in St Albans, UK.
