Dear all,

I have also been looking for examples of community-based administration of antiretroviral
medication. This is to find out for scaling up what communities can do themselves in
antiretroviral treatment services and what need to be covered by formal healthworkers and
health facilities.
So, please share experiences.

Thanks a lot,

MSF has a great deal of experience dealing with the administration of ARV in resource-poor
settings, and gave several examples at the IAS conference in Paris last July. Go to their
"Access to Essential Medicines" Project on their web site (www.msf.org) to find names of
people to contact.

Daniel Berman comes to mind, although I know he's very busy and it may take him a while to
get back to you via email.

Best of Luck.
Your publication is excellent and I highly recommend it.
