Colleagues,

Eric Fleutelot raised an important point about the need to protect community organisations
by providing access to ART for their active members.

It will be critical to elaborate more on this issue when discussing an increasing role of
the community organisations in scaling up treatment in developing countries.

The Burundi and Mali experiences that Eric presented, are good examples of partnership
work between community organizations and health professionals.
