In memory of Peter Busse

Dear Friends

It is with great sadness that we announce that Peter Busse, a long term
AIDS activist, fantastic trainer/facilitator and dear friend died in
Johannesburg, South Africa on 6 January 2006. 

His last four months were filled with work assignments to India,
Bangladesh, Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Canada and The Netherlands. 

He dedicated the past 20 years of living positively with HIV to
supporting countless organisations and individuals with strategies of
how to fight stigma and addressing the day to day realities of HIV/AIDS.
His special magic was getting people to open up and speak comfortably
about issues that are considered sensitive and sacred.

We shall miss him dearly.

The arrangements for his funeral and memorial service, scheduled for
Saturday 13 January in Johannesburg will also be on the website below,
as soon as it is known. Messages of condolences, pictures can also be
