FHI Vacancy: Senior Technical Officer, Palliative and CHBC

Family Health International (FHI) is dedicated to improving lives,
knowledge, and understanding worldwide through a highly diversified
program of research, education, and services in HIV/AIDS prevention,
care and treatment, reproductive health, and infectious diseases.  We
are seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

Senior Technical Officer, Palliative and CHBC (Arlington, VA)

Oversees development and implementation of the Institute's technical
strategy for palliative care and Community and Home-based Care.
Provides technical assistance to country programs and implementing
partners to ensure technical soundness of palliative care and CHBC.
M.D., MPH or Nursing degree with equivalent experience in public health
or the social sciences; and 5-7 years experience in health and social
support programs in developing countries.  Must have experience in CHBC
or palliative care for HIV/AIDS.  Experience must reflect the knowledge,
skills and abilities listed above.  Fluency in French is an asset.
