Dear all,

I wanted to add my voice to this very important discussion and to say that I would like to support the candidature of Sidibe Muchel. He appears to be the only candidate from Africa and the entire global south where the brunt of the diseases and their impact are most felt. Coming from a civil society background and now in the UN system, I believe that Sidibe's emergence as the Global Fund Executive Director will increase the level of civil society participation at the global fund and ensure a higher level of collaboration between the Civil society and the Global fund.

I think that since he comes from Africa, he will be in the position to eusure that the grant money approved for countries in the region will be such that directly addresses the disaeses and mitigate impact effectively.

One Question that I would like to pass to Mr. Sidibe is:
How would you ensure access for young people and youth-led organisations to the global fund and its activities.
