Though i didnt get the very first draft but the subject above is a bit surprising! how can malaria per se have a link into catastrophic spread of AIDS in Africa?

I do agree I`m still a very junior person in this medical field just an intern doctor with few months of experience in practising, it doesn't stop me from thinking in a broad manner as to how this things can happen?
Does it imply marasites have any link in activating the virus to multiply, or the parasites are depressing the human immunity to the level that led to catastrophic spread of the virions? i hope the mosquitoes have no any role in that.
Is there any role may be the parasites have a tendency in impairing the mode of prevention of HIV/AIDS?
Anyway this is a medical field where our mind are supposed to be open always to welcome the new information and knowledge which are scientifically sound and evidence based on research findings
It will be of my great pleasure if at all you will be able to send the findings.
