I am not sure if this is the kind of resource you are looking for  
right now, but the Peace Tiles project offers a basic arts activity  
that can be used at several levels:
- Self expression
- Education
- Therapy
- Self advocacy

At the same time, the "tiles" produced are a wonderful medium for  
exchange among others around the world.  I encourage you to visit:

what is involved.  I'd be happy to communicate with you further about
