Re: 9th Counselling Conference - 2nd  -  4th  September 2008.

Conference Theme - 'Counselling Research  &  its Implications for
Practice'

We wish to invite counsellors to our 9th Counselling Conference.  The
dates are 2nd  - 4th   September 2008 and the venue is the Safari Park
Hotel, Nairobi, Kenya. The conference registration fee is Kshs.8,000.00
per person for East African participants and US$300 for international
participants. This does not include accommodation charges.

The theme of the conference will focus on the Role of Research in
Counselling and  its Practical Implication.  During the Conference,
topics will include professional training, supervision, accreditation,
counselling in schools, ethical concerns and standards.

In addition, there will be a 2 day pre-conference workshop during the
week of 25th to 29th August 2008.  Do not hesitate to contact KAPC for
