1. Deputy Director, Uganda

Position Description:
The Deputy Director for the Reproductive Health/Family Planning and
Child Survival Services will be responsible for project management of a
team that will design and implement activities for the reproductive
health/family planning and child survival programs in collaboration with
various government ministries and community programs to support
USAID/Uganda and the Government of Uganda. The Deputy Director will
report to the Project Director. 

Minimum Requirements:
Masters' degree in public health, or a related advanced degree; 7-10
years experience managing staff to implement large scale health programs
and setting up operational systems and procedures for Reproductive
Health/Family Planning and Child Survival programs; Technical experience
in areas of: reproductive health/family planning and/or or child
survival; Prior experience in a leadership role on USAID-funded

2.Director, Balasahyoga

Department/Division: Global Operations

Position Location: India  

Position Description:
The Director is a senior manager with responsibility for providing
management and technical oversight of the Balasahyoga programme in the
11 districts to ensure that the project is effectively and efficiently
implemented. The Director will provide leadership, management oversight,
and technical direction to the project, supervise technical and
programme staff, and liaise with government officials, partners, and
donors in close collaboration with the programme teams. S/He will report
to a senior management team comprised of directors from the three
consortium member organizations: FHI, CF and CARE-India. In addition,
the Director will be responsible to organize the work of managers from
these three organizations and the Andhra Pradesh government in order to
ensure that the programme is coordinated and that all parties are
working together towards a common goal. 

Minimum Requirements:
MS/MA in public health or related field and 7-9 years relevant
experience with international development programs and includes 3-5
years of supervisory experience, overseas field experience required; or
PhD/MD or equivalent degree and 5-7 years relevant experience. Strong
programme manager with an impressive record of success in implementing
complicated projects or programmes with multiple stakeholders;
Experience in developing, monitoring and managing a budget; Hindi and
Telugu language ability preferred.

3. Associate Director, Technical

Position Description:
To provice leadership, management and technical expertise for the Malawi
FCFC project, and to supervise key project staff. In addition, the
Associate Director will supervise technical staff members of the FHI
Malawi team and provide technical guidance to all projects in the
country portfolio.

Provide technical and management leadership to FHI's program in Niassa
Province in Mozambique and oversee all activities in HIV/AIDS and other
related health programming in the province. This includes health
facility-based services (CT, PMTCT, TB, STI, clinical care/ART, etc.)
and community-based support and mobilization (HBC, OVC, prevention,
SBC).  

Minimum Requirements:
BS/BA in public health or related field, and 7-9 years relevant
experience in HIV/AIDS with international development programs. or
MS/MA/MPH and 5 - 7 years relevant experience; or PhD, MD or similar
degree with 3 - 5 years relevant experience. Portuguese and/or Spanish
language skill(both oral and written) required.
